as long as u take the 2 strongest dg´s and u are just pissed that u didnt make ur win like u expected....

Personally I'd feel better if you simply booted the people who chose your condemned demi's or hosted your games with a title that excludes the demis you dont feel are fair.

Much the same that I feel ere/oc should discuss "bugged" hops over the gaps (crucible) before the game starts.

But I understand your position and appreciate that as far as I know you don't just dc as host in 1v1 (but I don't play 1v1 so yea).

There's no such thing as a lame strategy in Demigod. There is always a counter.

If the strategy leads you to a win, then congrats and just keep it up. Trust me, the other team would also pull of the same strategy to get a win.

Their are plenty of lame strats. 

In my perception, a lame strat is one that is extremely boring for the opponent to counter. 

Yeah, you can counter a minion build, but how fucking dull is it to spend the whole game running between towers to attack minions who will be instantly resummoned.

Ya there are counters.. it's just.. bah.  The only thing I can't stand is spirits in the citadel.  Sure it's counterable but.. it's just not an enjoyable game, even winning.

But then again what exactly IS lame? For example, isn't it lame being spit at every 7 seconds? Or bitten every 5? Whenever you are on the receiving end it feels lame .

While we're on the subject, how would you counter Oak's minion citadel attack 1v1?

True, DG's characters are not in a good state of balance.

However, these imbalances become even more severe in 1 v 1 play, as this game was really designed around 3 v 3+ teams.

Just wanted to make that clear.

Secondly, perhaps it would be best to stipulate at in the game's title that you don't want the opponent to pick UC or LE in order to avoid this sort of grief in the future, rather than unproductively whine about it on the forums.

Most people don't play solely 1 v 1 games, so it's probably not as big a deal to them to play UC or LE every time they do play 1 v 1, as in larger games they can roll with other characters. Also, you really think everyone that plays DG is going to read your little rant here?

And that's part of strategy.

its exactly true...sometimes the other strats.....batswarm bite...spit run...feel also lame...just when ur on the other end of the barrel of the gun....

me also thinks ...its allowed what the game offers, and i cant forbid an erebus to batswarm to my portal flag on crucible..i just can refuse to play an erebus on crucible...

Still doesn't refute the fact that a LOT of things are just irritating to play against, legit as they may be.

I still submit the most irritating game I EVER played with against Reg/Minion Oak (SoccerMom and someone else)

You NEVER saw either of them. Just minions and snipes. I almost broke my mouse out of irritation. 

^When you get that frustrated playing video games, how do you even deal with some of those customers you have to interact with?

I stop playing Demigod right away when I feel tightness in my chest. Then I cool off by listening to some happy music.

I don't go to work for fun.

I play Demigod for fun.

And you already know how I feel about music.

If I just quit when it got frustrating, it would ruin the game for everyone else, wouldn't it? Just because one game isn't fun, doesn't mean the next one won't be.

I like to keep my blood pressure in check. I actually think I've aged about 10 years from this game.

I think maybe I should be doing your job while you should be playing Demigod for me. I like talking to people, you like Demigod, it kinda works out.

You wouldnt want to talk to these people, trust me.
